# Sea to Sky Bolt Fund Society

The Sea to Sky Bolt Fund Society is a registered BC non-profit (Incorporation Number: S0084697) based in Squamish, British Columbia. We raise, manage, and distribute funds to support the development of climbing routes in the Sea to Sky region by providing fixed climbing hardware: bolts, hangers, anchors, chains, and related materials.

## What We Fund

The fund pays for fixed hardware used in ongoing route development: bolts, hangers, anchors, chains, and related gear. We support development across a wide grade range so more climbers can enjoy new routes in the Sea to Sky region. We do not fund travel, labour, gear for personal use, route maintenance, or bolt replacement.

## How to Donate

Donations can be made through our website at https://seatoskyclimbing.ca via Zeffy (a zero-fee donation platform). Every dollar goes directly toward putting bolts in rock.

## How to Request Funding

Route developers can apply for hardware funding at https://seatoskyclimbing.ca/request-fund. Applicants must:
- Be a Squamish Access Society member
- Be developing routes in the Sea to Sky corridor
- Have appropriate land access or permissions
- Be committed to proper installation practices and community standards
- Have equipped or opened 10 new pitches at their own expense in the region

Requests are reviewed by the board on a rolling basis with typical response within a few weeks.
